Aaron Sultan

School Director

Br. Aaron was born and raised in the DFW area and comes from an extensive background in education. He holds an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.

He has served as a math interventionist at the middle school level and has also taught at the elementary level. For the past six years, Br. Aaron has served as a campus administrator at two separate campuses within Birdville Independent School District.

Benish Naqvi

Admin Assistant

In her role on the administration team at Wisdom Academy, Ms. Benish is dedicated to supporting our staff and students by ensuring that the school operates efficiently and smoothly.

With a strong focus on organization, communication, and attention to detail, she work hard to provide the behind-the-scenes support that keeps operations running smoothly. Ms. Benish genuinely loves being part of this community, and takes great pride in helping to create a welcoming, organized, and positive environment where everyone can succeed.

Umma Ali

Admin assistant

Ms. Umma has a B.A. in Psychology with a Minor in English from The University of Texas at Arlington. I enjoy working behind the scenes at Wisdom Academy to help keep it up to date with The Department of Family and Protective Services requirements as well as other administrative clerical duties.

Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi

Dean of Mission

Shaykh Mohammed was born and raised in the United States and is a graduate of the Islamic seminary (ḥawzah) in Najaf, Iraq. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a double emphasis in Electronic Media and Speech from the University of Michigan where he also minored in Philosophy and completed his Pre-Medical requirements.

Shaykh Mohammed Al-Saadi is the founder of Shield Families, a non-profit that aims to “revive the village” by connecting and equipping like-minded believers with the tools needed to raise devout and resilient families living in the west.

He also serves as the Dean of Mission at Wisdom Academy, an Islamic Montessori school based in Dallas, TX where he and his family now reside.

Tasneem Mamdani

Primary Guide

Ms. Mamdani is a Certified Montessori Teacher and holds her Primary Diploma from the internationally recognized Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) as well as from The American Montessori Society (AMS). She is also certified in Early Childhood Education with over 16 years of teaching experience.

Sr. Mamdani joined Wisdom Academy in August 2012 when it started as a Mother’s Day Out program. Prior to joining Wisdom Academy, she taught for over seven years in a Private Early Childhood School based in Coppell, TX. She also worked at Lumin Education (Charter School in Dallas).

Her focus is on providing an environment that promotes a sense of security for the child where she can sow the seeds of learning. Her primary goal is to invoke the curiosity of the child and develop a lifelong love of learning.

Sr. Tasneem has two children, three grandchildren, and when she is not teaching, she enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her family.

Hind Sabir

Elementary Guide

Ms. Hind believes in guiding and empowering young individuals towards the wonders of Allah’s (swt) creation through the logic of the Montessori method within the nucleus of the Ahlul Bayt (as). She believes that this is the work of humanity and she feels blessed to bring it to the children and families of Wisdom Academy. Ms. Hind has a BS from The University of Texas at Arlington and an AMI Elementary Diploma from The Montessori Institute of San Diego. She completed her M.Ed. from Loyola University Maryland in 2022.

Fatema Mamdani

Islamic Studies Coordinator

Ms. Fatema comes from a background of elementary teaching, with several years of experience at different grade levels. She is passionate about making Islamic content more creative and engaging for students. She is Curriculum Director at Al-Kisa Foundation and also works with Wisdom Academy as Islamic Studies Coordinator and Event Content Creator.

On a personal level, Ms. Fatema is a mom who loves books and her morning coffee. She also enjoys playing board games and spending time outdoors.


Batool Kamar

Upper School Math Teacher

Ms. Kamar was born and raised in Lebanon. She received both her bachelors and masters degree in Physics for the Lebanese University, Lebanon.

Ms. Kamar is passionate about making an impact on young minds who have the potential to shape the future our muslim society, equipping them with logic and reasoning, and inspiring them to be the next leading Mathematicians and Scientists.

On a personal level, Ms. Kamar is a mother of two boys, and enjoys embroidery in her free time.

Fadia Ali

Quran Teacher

Ms. Fadia Ali joined Wisdom Academy in 2013 and has been the lead Quran and Arabic Teacher since then. Sister Fadia is a native speaker of the Arabic language and she graduated from Damascus law school before she moved to the United States. She started her journey of teaching Quran and Arabic almost 18 years ago, in different schools and Islamic institutions. However, sister Fadia’s journey of learning has not come to end yet, She is currently, working on her AMI elementary diploma, as a way of deepening her understanding of the Montessori theories and methods which she hopes will help her in designing a Quran and Arabic curriculum using the Montessori approach.

Jonathan Yusuf Ali

Middle School ELA/Social Studies &Electives Teacher

Texas Teacher Certification for Secondary English Language Arts and Reading

Br. Yusuf is a native Texan who accepted Islam in 2003 at the age of 26, as a result of years of study and contemplation regarding the existence of God and meaning of life. After teaching English at a local public high school for 8 years, he left that position in 2012 to study Islamic Sciences for 4 years at Imam Ali Seminary in the U.S. and then 2 years at Jami’atul Mustafa in Qom, Iran. Because he cannot imagine working in any field other than education, he hopes to put his efforts at the service of the Imam (atfs) at Wisdom Academy. He and his wife have 3 children, ages 15, 14, and 11.

Kaneez Merchant

Art Teacher

Ms. Kaneez teaches the Visual Arts at Wisdom Academy. She is a native Texan who holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting with a Minor in Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University. Her interest in Montessori led her to complete AMI's teaching assistant's certification. She joins Wisdom Academy while working as a professional artist infusing modern and classical art techniques with Islamic calligraphy.


Malak Charara

Middle School Science Teacher

Ms. Malak holds a M.Sc. in medical Biochemistry from Kuwait

University. The ability to share what I have learned and my interest in science to others was, and still is the best

part of my career. I’m always eager to help my students understand why science is important and how it is

integrated in our everyday life through simplifying the material along with engaging approaches. I try to bring in

joy and high-quality teaching wherever I go. Besides my education and work, I am Alhamdulillah a mom of two precious princesses. Together we enjoy trying new recipes, outdoor activities and traveling.
